Great hotel, unfortunately it was high summer in Rio and there were lots of families, normally we would go to adult only hotel during school holidays, our mistake for not checking. I am sure the experience would have been different in the off season, also this hotel is a conference hotel

Location was excellent, all the staff were so helpful with every request including dinner reservations, tours and early taxi transfer that was less expensive than booking a yellow taxi. Rooms were a great size, clean and our room had an amazing view from the 19th floor to Christ the Redeemer.

The location is excellent. A much quieter section of Copcabana.Staff at very good and helpful. Metro about 20min walk. Good places to eat near by. Would definitely stay here again. They do put a charge on your credit card at check in rather than just take card details. Would have been helpful to know this before hand as could have been a problem if not enough credit.

Very clean, friendly staff, we loved everything!!
I asked the staff to hold our bags and they were really nice and polite.
The only thing I would complain is the air conditioner really high but when I asked them to put it down, they did :)

Terrific location, very near beach and close to shopping and restaurants. Staff are helpful and patient. The breakfasts are very good, served in the restaurant, which is also very good. It is close to a subway station entrance, making travel to other areas easy. The place is minimalist but stylish, bathrooms are rather small, I would recommend taking the largest room you can manage. Beds are comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay here.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Rio de Janeiro
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly period to visit Rio de Janeiro is from June to August, when hotel rates are generally lower. To fully appreciate the city's iconic landmarks, rich history, and vibrant culture, a stay of at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. During this time, visitors can explore beautiful beaches, enjoy stunning scenery, visit fascinating museums, admire impressive architecture, and soak up the lively atmosphere with live music and breathtaking sunsets, all of which offer great value for money. Prices may drop during these months, making it an ideal choice for those travelling on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Rio de Janeiro, begin by exploring the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted hotel rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss any potential savings. The Smart Shoppingopens in new window tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so if rooms become available or prices drop, you could be among the first to know and book that spontaneous getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal for your stay in a hotel in Rio de Janeiro. For those seeking something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and potentially a more attractive value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher end, we’ll suggest alternative dates that might be more affordable, assisting you in your search for a more favourable option.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Rio de Janeiro's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel further afield that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
