Little Gem in the town centre
Excellent location, great value room. Unfortunately we didn't eat there, but the pub on the evening is a very nice environment. Good ale from their local brewhouse and very friendly staff.

Very good 8.0
Nice place but could improve
Rooms are lovely couple of negatives - on arrival I was really struggling with my bags and dropped my coat. A waiter was walking past with drinks right by a table and rather than ask me if he could help he gave me a filthy look and said do you mind if I get past - this was not a great first impression I picked my coat up whist balancing bags and cases. The other down side was there was no hot water for a shower in our bathroom both mornings and it was cold in there - so lovely looking room but didn't all work

Nice accommodation to welcome in 2020.
Room and stay was very good, only a few strides away from our venue on NYE. The only thing that i would say, is that with it being a small room, very comfortable, but the heating came on in the night, and we had to open the window as it was rather warm in the room. Could not adjust the heater as it was boxed in. Other than that, a very pleasant stay. Thanks.

Really nice pub hotel with a great British style restaurant. Some interesting real ales from their own brewery added to the experience

k for an overnight in Chester
Lovely old historic building and penthouse suite has great layout for a family with kids as two separate bedrooms. However noise from street made it difficult to sleep and toilet wouldn’t flush. Secondary double glazing would be an investment if possible to install.

Needs to be £40 cheaper
Too expensive for what was on offer. Bathroom was bigger than the bed. Toilet didnt flush and room was very cold. They put a heater in the room so its an obvious problem. Unfortunately, wint be staying again
