The Burlington Hotel
"Shower was slow in room 422 despite asking it to be fixed no one helped"
OYO Devonshire Park Hotel
"Helpful and considerate staff, very good breakfast, ideally situated for Towner gallery"
The Chatsworth Hotel
"Very good all round. Staff were very professional. Only one thing that has stayed on my mind ,was the pile of empty boxes on the Cigar cabinet… I will certainly stay at the Hotel again"
The Grand Hotel Eastbourne
"The Grand Hotel is a long-established, traditional hotel with a distinctly classic look and feel. The aesthetic is not quite my personal preference, but I had a good stay and was particularly impressed by the service. I emailed the hotel before arriving and received a prompt and helpful response. My room was spacious, with generous wardrobe space, a safe, a Nespresso machine with pods, two complimentary bottles of water and bespoke bathroom amenities. Service throughout my stay was excellent. Rita and Sylvia at reception were both extremely helpful, as was the valet team. Room service occasionally took a few attempts to reach, but once through, they were attentive and the food arrived promptly. I also overslept one morning and nearly missed breakfast. They kindly arranged a tray and brought it to my room. The food was consistently excellent. The hotel has a beautiful seafront setting, especially on a clear day and the lounge and afternoon tea are clearly popular with local guests. If you favour traditional grand hotels, classic interiors and attentive service, The Grand should suit you well. For me, the quality of the service was what made the stay."
The Lansdowne, Eastbourne
"The people at the hotel were charming and helpful. In fact the hotel was enjoyable. My room was perfectly adequate for a short stay and very clean."
Marine Parade Hotel
"Great value for money and rooms tend to be much cleaner compared to other hotels around the same price. Front door is locked overnight but you’re given a code to be able to go in and out at your convenience which was also great."
The View Hotel
"A single room with balcony and sea view. Rooms dated but everything works! Food was lovely in the bar and staff friendly and helpful. Parking rate excellent and able to park close by most of the time. Great location."
Eastbourne Riviera Hotel
"The Riviera is a well located clean and comfortable travellers inn. Our room was very spacious overlooking the beach and having a lift was very welcome convenience for us to access our room. The staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating."
Cavendish Hotel
"It's a grand old building - and some of the public areas downstairs are nicely done, and look great. Big and spacious reception/foyer and bar area as well (Didn't use the restaurant). The room was a good size, and a decent price - but as wih many of these big, old properties, it's worn & tired. It was cleaned well, and plenty of space."

- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may assist you in securing a better rate for your stay in an Eastbourne hotel. For those seeking something a bit different, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and could offer better value. - Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre generally tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Eastbourne's superb public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit further out that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found.
