Nice pleasant hotel in close proximity to the hospital. Rooms are clean and tidy, although the TV did not work all other items in the room did work.

Room not as per what was shown on website. Had to negotiate to shift to another room. Too small room with Maintenance problems in bathroom

Exceptional 10.0
Good price, nice little room.
This hotel is setup in an old Uni dorm house. The decor is dated, BUT all very clean. Nice and quite building, nice part of Birmingham. Staff very friendly. Very competitive rates compared to somewhere in town. UBER into town around £6-7.

Categorically the worst 2 nights sleep I’ve had in a long time - the rooms are single glazed so the noise from outside (and in particular the hourly chime of the university clock tower) is very disturbing. The doors and walls are also incredibly thin, meaning guests coming in at all hours or watching TV are also very disturbing. Carpets old and tattered, and the whole place is in need of redecorating. The photos online are misleading. However, on the plus side the staff are friendly and helpful and there is a bus stop directly outside which runs to Birmingham New Street Station.

90’s throwback
It was clean but reminded me of student halls of residence in the 90’s, musty carpets, drafts from windows that don’t close properly and very dated decor and furnishings. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was average at best.

Was down for two days of the test match. Perfect for overnight stay and walking distance to Edgbaston.

Don't trust the photos
The room shown on the website was NOTHING like the real thing. Apparently the picture was from the sister hotel across the road - false advertising. Check in and out was fine but the room was horrible.

Not the best.
The room was very outdated and not like the pictures shown, and for the money was disappointed.
