"Excellent service and dining, with one room issue. Overall, The Grand delivered many of the things we hoped for from a five-star resort: polished service, strong dining, beautiful spaces, and a team that genuinely cared. Service was a highlight - every team member was respectful, warm, and professional. Julio at the pool was exceptional: attentive without being overbearing, thoughtful in the small details, and clearly proud of his work. The dining was also excellent. Le Château was one of the best meals we have had while travelling: well-paced service, beautifully prepared food, and an elevated experience. The circus-themed restaurant was a standout for our kids, with performances, colourful presentation, and table-side touches that made it a 10/10 experience for them. Across the resort, the food quality was well above the typical all-inclusive standard. The main issue was our room’s air conditioning. Our room stayed around 25°C, and although maintenance responded quickly and professionally, the issue continued. Over 2 nights, staff came to our room multiple times between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. trying to resolve it, which made it difficult for our family. To the resort’s credit, a room change was offered the day before we left, but it was our only full day remaining and moving rooms was not practical with two young kids. A fan was later provided, which helped. Overall, many parts of our stay were excellent. The experience would have been stronger should the AC issue been resolved"
