Welcoming staff and a small (expected in New York) single room which had been very well thought out and worked really well. Grand central was a walk away and perfect for getting around the city. Breakfast was excellent, way better than expected and things like a steamer for clothes was wonderful, loved my stay, bed comfy. Highly recommended

This is a great value hotel, in a wonderful location in the lower east side. The room and amenities were all clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Even though you’re in a loud part of town I found you couldn’t hear much from outside. The rooftop is a bonus too. I would definitely stay here again next time I come back.

The staff were always friendly and available to answer questions, when we arrived they had a little welcome pack pointing out a list of places to eat in the area and how to get to the nearest subway stops.
The room was clean but very small however as we were out exploring all day this was not an issue.
The bed was comfortable and the curtains blocked out the light well.
The hotel is right next to a subway line so you can hear the trains...
